For a split second, her vision returned, and she saw Balmung brushing her bangs out of her eyes.
"Face it Kumu. My Kurumu. The only happiness that's left for you is to be miserable, with me. Together... We'll be miserable together, but at least we'll be together... Doesn't that sound nice...?"
"Gahh--....?" Kurumu looked down at herself, seeing his arm having gone through her back, and out just above those torpedo tits. He clutched her heart in his hand, and kept pushing his arm through her, until it went through his chest too.
"Our hearts will always be together. Just like my love for you. I love you, Kurumu. Enough to finally end this, and take you away from such a terrible, ungrateful, undeserving world..."
"This........ Isn't how.... I was supposed to die--" She was cut off when Balmung finally planted an unrequited kiss over her bloody mouth. With one crushing squeeze, both of their hearts burst.
